The final conference of the MIGHEAL project “Health inequalities among migrant population” was organized by the National Centre for Social Research (EKKE) in collaboration with the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). It was held on 9-10 February 2017 at ‘Yiannos Kranidiotis' Conference Hall, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (1, Akadimias Str., Athens). The final programme is available here

Researchers from Greece and abroad discussed the findings of the research programme, as well as some critical issues regarding the refugee population in Greece. The keynote speech was delivered by Richard F. Mollica, Professor of the Harvard Medical School and Director of the Harvard Program in Refugee Trauma (HPRT).

The success of the conference was affirmed by the participation of approximately 90 representatives of public authorities and non-governmental organizations actively involved in migration and refugee issues, academics and researchers, representatives of embassies as well as journalists.

The working language of the conference was Greek, with simultaneous interpretation in English.
